Terms of Use

1. Acceptance and eligibility

By creating an account or using PharmaTarget, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be legally capable of agreeing to these terms. If the law where you live requires consent from a parent or guardian, use PharmaTarget only with that consent.

2. Educational service only

PharmaTarget is an independent study aid for pharmacy exam preparation. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by PEBC. Content is provided for educational purposes only and is not medical, pharmacy, clinical, legal, or other professional advice. PharmaTarget does not guarantee examination eligibility, a passing score, licensure, employment, or any particular result. Always verify important information with current authoritative sources.

3. Your account

• Provide accurate information and keep it reasonably current.
• Keep your credentials secure and do not share access to your account.
• Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
• Use only your own account unless we expressly authorize otherwise.

You can delete your account from More → Settings → Delete Account. Deleting the app from a device does not cancel an App Store subscription.

4. Subscriptions, trials, and billing

PharmaTarget offers monthly, three-month, and six-month auto-renewable Premium subscriptions through Apple. All three plans provide the same Premium access during an active subscription. The app and App Store show your localized price, billing period, and any eligible offer before purchase. Prices and offers may vary by storefront and may change as permitted by Apple and applicable law.

The free Osteoporosis lesson includes reading, audio, and its questions without a subscription. It is separate from a Premium subscription trial. A three-day trial may be offered to eligible new subscribers on the monthly plan only when displayed by Apple in the app. The three-month and six-month plans do not include a trial. If you accept a trial, it converts to a paid monthly subscription at the displayed price unless canceled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm a purchase.
• A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it through Apple before renewal.
• You can restore eligible purchases from the Membership screen in the app.
• Apple handles billing, cancellation, and refund requests under its rules.

When the app is obtained through Apple, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies unless Apple presents a different applicable license.

5. Limited license and intellectual property

Subject to these terms, we grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable right to use PharmaTarget for your own lawful study. PharmaTarget’s software, design, branding, text, questions, lessons, media, and other content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

6. Acceptable use

You may not:

• Copy, scrape, record, republish, sell, or distribute protected course or exam-preparation content.
• Attempt to bypass subscriptions, access controls, usage limits, or app security.
• Reverse engineer or interfere with the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
• Use the service to violate law, intellectual-property rights, privacy, or the rights of another person.
• Upload malicious code, probe accounts or systems, or use automated access without permission.
• Misrepresent PharmaTarget content as official PEBC material or medical advice.

7. Community features

PharmaTarget does not currently provide user-to-user community features. Any community features we make available are also subject to our Community Guidelines. We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate those guidelines or these terms.

8. Changes and availability

We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue features, content, or availability. We may also suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service or others, respond to legal obligations, or address a serious or repeated violation of these terms. Where practical, we will provide notice of material changes.

9. Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, PharmaTarget is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise that every item will be error-free, complete, or continuously available. You remain responsible for your study decisions, examination registration, and professional decisions. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties, remedies, or liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.

10. Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws that apply to the PharmaTarget operator, without excluding mandatory consumer protections or rights that apply where you live. Any dispute should first be raised with us so we can try to resolve it informally.
